01

What to include

  • The exact CareerCertFinder page URL
  • The statement or field you believe is incorrect
  • The corrected information you propose
  • A current official provider page, handbook, policy, or other primary source
  • Any regional context needed to understand the difference

Please do not send passwords, payment details, identity documents, exam-account credentials, or other sensitive personal information.

02

How we assess a report

1

Locate

Confirm the affected page, field, publication status, and cited source.

2

Verify

Check the claim against the issuer and relevant supporting policies.

3

Resolve

Correct, clarify, retain, or remove the statement based on the evidence.

Submitting a report does not guarantee a change. Conflicting sources, regional variations, and provider transitions may require additional checking.

03

Material and minor corrections

A material correction changes information that could reasonably affect a decision—such as eligibility, price, exam code, duration, validity, renewal, credential status, or an official source. When appropriate, the page may display a correction note and a refreshed verification date.

A minor correction fixes spelling, formatting, broken presentation, or wording without changing the underlying meaning. Minor edits may be made without a visible correction note.

04

Provider and rights-holder requests

Providers and rights holders may report factual errors or legitimate intellectual-property concerns through the same email address. Please identify your relationship to the organization and provide enough information for us to verify the request. A provider cannot purchase the removal of accurate, lawful editorial information or control an independent conclusion.

FAQ

Corrections Policy questions

What is a material correction?

A change is material when earlier wording could affect a decision, such as eligibility, exam version, fee, delivery, validity, renewal, provider status, or a significant limitation.

Will every edit receive a public note?

No. Typographical, formatting, and clarity fixes may be silent. A visible note is considered when readers could reasonably have relied on the earlier material information.

Can a provider demand promotional wording?

No. Providers can supply evidence and explain their position, but they cannot require unqualified marketing claims or removal of an accurate, relevant limitation.

Send reports to contact@careercertfinder.com. Include the CareerCertFinder page, disputed statement, proposed correction, official source, and source date. Do not send confidential exam material or unnecessary personal information.

The editorial team may contact the issuer or review archived evidence when the timing of a change matters. If evidence is incomplete, the wording may be qualified while further verification continues rather than being replaced with another uncertain claim.

Evidence is evaluated by relevance and timing. A current provider handbook normally carries more weight for provider requirements than an undated third-party article. An archived page may still be necessary to determine what was correct on an earlier date. The reviewer checks whether the source applies to the same credential, exam version, country, candidate type, and publication period before changing the record. When a report raises a broader quality issue, related profiles may also be checked so the same error is not left elsewhere in the catalogue.

Corrections are not ratings negotiations. A provider may disagree with an editorial limitation even when the underlying facts are accurate. In that case, the team reviews whether the wording is fair, relevant, supported, and clearly distinguished from official claims. The purpose is to improve reader understanding rather than to reproduce marketing language or create a more favorable commercial presentation.

Verification beyond this page

The corrections policy gives readers and providers a documented way to submit evidence about a possible error. Under this corrections policy, a report is checked against current primary sources before a material claim or verification date is changed.

For broader independent context, consult Google Search Central people-first content guidance. An external reference provides context; the issuing organization remains authoritative for its own current credential rules.
